EPCOT means Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow and is the second largest Disney theme park. It is aimed more at older people and there are lots of things to see and do, many people enjoying the fact that they discover new things every time they go there.
The park is so big that it takes a good two days to see a good amount of it and even then you are unlikely to get a glance at everything. It is split in to two parts called the World Showcase and Future World. The front part of the park celebrates human development and technology and the back part looks at World Culture. Everywhere is a celebration of man’s achievements. The attractions are designed to bring guests attention to achievements and technology. There are many things to see there, selections are listed below.
Soarin was put in the park in 2005 and came from Disney’s California adventure. It is one of the most popular attractions and has a giant hang glider which guests can go in and see over the park, using an IMAX screen. They get to experience the motion and there are breezes and smells as well as music to make a full sensory experience Illuminations; Reflections of the Earth is the night time fireworks display which has an original score piece of music which accompanies the display which shows how nations of the world should work together to help each other. Spaceship Earth is the story of our past and where we might be heading in the future.
The park has a monorail to Magic Kingdom and so it can be used to spend a day in Epcot and evening in Magic Kingdom, if you want to.
